Local Police Helping Communities During Bad Weather

            Local police in Evesham have been going the extra mile to help members of the community in need during the adverse weather conditions.

Police and community support officers have been out and about checking on the elderly and vulnerable and helping them with any important everyday tasks they are struggling with themselves.

Clearing paths and driveways and collecting milk, food and prescriptions are just some of the errands they are helping with.

The National Police Commission (Napolcom)

        in line with the agency's commitment to maintain the integrity of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Entrance Examination, the National Police Commission (Napolcom) invalidated the examination results of 387 examinees who cheated during the examination last year.

PNP Health Service Statistics

        According to PNP Health Service statistics,  3,283 officers and workers at the PNP national headquarters are overweight, while 588 are obese. There are 6,253 members of the PNP at Camp Crame out of a workforce of about 140,000 nationwide.

On the other hand, 2,376 PNP workers at the camp have healthy weights, while there are only six below their ideal weight, according to figures provided by Senior Superintendent Ma. Angela Manas Vidal, director of the Health Service.

          The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) served a search warrant and rounded up around 50 members of a group called the Presidential Regional Assistance Monitoring Services or PRAMS at a rented two-story house on Road 1 in Barangay Bagong Pagasa. Judge Cecilyn Burgos-Villavert of the Regional Trial Court Branch 89 issued the warrant.
